I am Bob, and I am the PROUD owner of the above-referenced T-60. It has been one of my gig axes for over 25 years. Can someone out there help me find out the mfg date?
This forum is for talking about all kinds of Peavey electric and acoustic guitars.

Hi Bob! I know this is a really belated post, but T-60s should have an 8 digit serial number, with a few 1978 guitars that had either a six digit number by themselves, or "8M" followed by an six-digit number. If the number was 00110382, it'd have been made in 1978. If the number is 01100382 or 0110382x (last number doesn't matter), then it would have been built in 1982. Also, if it's a '78, it should have "toaster" style pickups, with a solid black area inside the pickup cover. Later T-60s had "blade" style pickups, which looked similar but had a metal blade in the middle of the black area.
