Help identifying a Vandenberg

Help identifying a Vandenberg

I was told that this Vandenberg is extremely rare because of the maple fretboard. I never thought much about it being rare until I posted to a FB group and multiple people said it was very rare. Can anyone help with this? I bought it new in '94 or so. Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about the maple back, but I believe the pink color is on the difficult to find side.
