It's great to shape the sounds. The parametric equalizer could probably do the same, but is much harder to use I find.

Thanks!
Bas
I second this request :D A nice graphic would be 8)

How about a Keeley Fuzzhead?

Or some kind of Fuzz stomp that's not just another FuzzFace clone?

Tracktion 2 is build 2.1.011, Revalver is licensed. Running on XP SP2.
I use a new bank for each project and store the programs I need in the bank. Would be nice it the programs could be loaded automatically

Edit: I just tried it with the demo of Reaper: same result. The saved Reaper project doesn't load the preset I selected for a track, but loads it with an empty program on bank 0.

My wish would be for an Interfax Harmonic Percolator.

It's a wish that's unlikely to come true, but that is my wish.

Hmm... what exactly does this thing do? Some sort of SS asymmetric multi stage dist?

The next version will add an 8 band Eq, of a sort.

It's a really, really strange distortion unit. It's has a completely unique sound that renders it pretty-much a one trick pony (it's no Marshall Guv'nor for example) but that one trick it...pretty crazy, and in the right hands pretty great.

They're super-obscure and I don't expect many people would ever want to use one or own one, but I guess there's something be to said for modelling stuff that has limited appeal in the sense that even if only 500 people on the world wanted a VST emulation of such a device, those people would have very limited options...well, currently none (apart from a hand-made version).

It'd be like modelling one the the classic Traynor amps, or a Selmer amp; these are not things covered elsewhere, you know? They're the sort of thing that might make a person buy your product rather than a Pod or whatever.

Anyway, it's just wishful thinking!

:D

Well, at least I could simulate it in Spice to see what kind of behavior the electronics has.

There are some sound clips of a hand-build version here.

I think I know how this thing works... I have been planning to have such a device sooner or later... so why not add it now? I'll see what I can do :-)

I was thinking about how it would sound to simulate a tranistor amp. A Randall Simulation for brutal Panetra-style sound would be so great! :D
