Setup problems with Xport & Reaper

Post by Patcrisis » Sun Dec 28, 2014 11:25 am

Hello,

Owner of an ASUS K50IJ, on which I installed Windows 7, I bought an Xport USB guitar interface to record my guitar parts, as it includes the recording software Reaper V4.75/x64.

After having read all the tutorials regarding both the Xport and the Reaper, I downloaded Asio4all V2.12.

Asio4all is active, as shows on the following :

The setup for the Xport is the following :

The setup for Reaper is the following :

And the setup for my Audio Deck is the following :

But I am facing a difficulty : Reaper and/or Peavey Xport do not seem to communicate with each other, as whatever the sound I have on my Peavey Xport (clean or distorded), Reaper only record a clean sound.

I feel really frustrated, as the sounds on Peavey Xport kill !

Can anyone help me on this one ?

Hello

Reaper will indeed record a clean sound unless you setup it to record the processed sound. If you are listening to the Xport's input in Reaper and are able to record with it, it is woring properly.
