Revalver4 volume not controllable from computer controls

Ok, I have a dilemma. Or maybe its the way its meant to be. When I run revalver4, I can't control the volume from my main volume control for the computer. I turn it up and down but it dont do anything. I am running a presonus audiobox, with 2 jbl monitors out of the back of it. I have a volume control on my computer for the audiobox when it's connected but it wont do anything when I run revalver 4. If I just play youtube videos or music or anything else, the volume control works even if I have RV4 open. It just wont control the volume of RV4. Any ideas? Or is this the way it's meant to be? Do I have to just use the output level in Revalver 4 to control the volume of RV4? Thanks!!!
