Hi all,
I still have the MKIII.V Preview installed and want to get rid of it and upgrade to the newest MKIII.V Full Version, this is for Mac.
Is there any kind of special uninstaller I need or is there a complete list of files I need to trash so I can ensure a proper and smooth upgrade?
Thanks!

Hi,
You definitely don't need to remove any files for an update. You can safely install the update on top of your current installation.
However, these are the files that are installed and that you probably are looking to remove:
* Standalone: Just drag the standalone app to the trash.
* VST in general: Found in /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/...
* AU in general: Found in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/...
* Shared files: Found in /Library/Application Support/Peavey Electronics/...
You will have to browse these directories for the actual version you wish to send to the trash. In case you have Mk III and Mk III.V or other plugins installed at the same time, make sure you don't delete it all, but only the version you want.
Uninstallation on Mac is a pain in the ***. Apple does not think that uninstallation is necessary; can't figure out why. There actually isn't an uninstall feature in the OS X, just an installer.

That's exactly what I was looking for. I like to make sure any cobwebs are out before throwing in the new hotness.
Thanks!
Thanks!
