Hi,
I still not have my REvalver 4 in function but, i tried the free presets & what i can say is that the sounds are not good at all ...it's like compressed with acute noise ... it's not like we see on videos.
I use Line 6 HD500X as interface with presonus Eris 8.
The setup on the HD500X is ; a new preset with everything off ... also the EQ of the HD500X have been cut off.
About the sound i am pretty sure that the HD500X is in fault !
So i think i need a second interface (mini interface without FX or amp in it)
Now, i have heard that the Xport is good ?! (don't know where to buy in canada)
Is ther any good Audio interface for REvalver ?
Thanks
Oh, is there a solution for the HD500X problem ?
Daniel

The Focusrite 'Scarlet Solo' is a nice little soundcard with instrument input and very low latency.
It works great with ReValver 4.
You can record up to 192Khz and 24bit.

You should be able to get a hold of one in Canada. (you can order one through the official site, they deliver worldwide).
I would not choose the XPort, because it's getting old and you can only use it with 16bits...

Re: REvalver with Line 6 HD500X ... not that good !
I checked the Line6 HD500x manual, and the signal that goes to your compter is always the PROCESSED signal.
In other words: you can only use the Line6 for recording guitarsounds made inside the HD500X. You can't even record a dry DI guitar signal, because there is constant processing going on...
So yes, you need a seperate soundcard for ReValver 4...
