Gig Mode and MIDI

Post by pipelineaudio » Thu May 03, 2018 12:47 am

I finally tried gig mode, and it is amazingly well thought out!

I had a couple of things that I'd like to get figured, if anyone has any ideas.

1. Is there a way to assign a midi pedal that can be used as a tap tempo globally? I know I could assign midi cc's to individual revalver FX for this, but system wide would be more helpful to me

2. Is there a way set a MIDI CC to pop the tuner up and mute the output? While we're at it, does anyone else have trouble with the tuner reading lower strings? I figure a workaround is to give up a slot and stick a third party tuner in and PC to it

3. Is there any other way to auto engage the wah like tonestack, axe-fx and th3 do it? I see the bad horsey style thing, but I can't get it consistent.

4. While trying to find a workaround for #2 and #3, I came upon #4, is there any way to get incoming MIDI messages into 3rd party VSTs? I could do the tuner and auto engage thing from a third party plugin, but they take MIDI to pull this off
