I don't know about anyone else, but I have basically moved on to the other products.

Not me!
Peavey may take a long time to come out with new stuff, but ReValver4 is still better than anything else, even after all this time.
I can't deny that I'm longing to hear some news from them, but this software still works extremely well, so I don't NEED anything new!
(it would be great, though!)

It's a strange thing: we guitarists can use a vintage amp for decades without complaining, but when it comes to modern tech, we Always want more...
We must be spoiled... :D

Since obtaining RV4 I have used nothing else for my home recordings and use the standalone version through a pair of bi-amped monitors for practice as they sound better than any of my valve amps at low volume.

I 100% agree with Cristofe regarding a hardware or amp based version of RV4.

If Marshall can do it with the "Code" series of amps I am absolutely certain Peavey could beat them at their own game with their own hybrid software / hardware amp design.

Incidentally, in side by side tests I was able to produce much more convincing "Marshall" tones than the Marshall Code could manage using a MK1 Peavey Vypyr 30 and a Boss Katana (technically a multi FX unit with a class AB solid state amp added on) which in my opinion is THE amp for convincing Marshall impersonations.

Come on Peavey, get to it !
You have the technology, you have the capability, time to show the rest of the world how it's done I think.

Marketing dept needs to get it's finger out to really make things sell !

Absolutely. I use an old Peavey Transtube Studio Pro 112 with ALL my hardware modelers as it has a lot of transparent clean headroom
and an FX loop.....perfect for the job. Its sounds great with my Roland GS-10 and Line 6 POD X3 I can only imagine how much better it
would sound with an R4 hardware rack.....and the idea of being able to use the R4 software as an editor for a hardware rack I can
just toss in a gig bag and take to the gig.....I can't say in public how much that excites me.....LOL!!

Hello all,

We understand that there's been a lack of news or releases for ReValver recently. We apologize for the silence.
However, we assure you that ReValver is not dead at all - development has never been put to a halt! In fact, we have been working very (very) hard on an exciting new addition to the ReValver line which will soon be going to beta.

As soon as we have official news it will be shared with you all. In the meantime, keep rocking on!

Cheers,

José

I just got this after having GR5 and Bias for a while. Revalver is the only one that actually makes me want to jam on guitar again. I suppose if the product dies I could live with Bias, but until that day I'm so happy I found this product. Makes me feel like I just heard a guitar for the first time. Beautiful beautiful software.

Peavey is going to be hitting the "3 years" mark without a single update to ReValver... sad indeed.

I think Peavey are attempting to break Line 6's update record with Pod Farm 2 - it's about 8 years since that had an update and it's still available for purchase too !!!!!

3 years, no update?

I would say the end is clearly in sight.
