We just want an ETA for the ACT Amp. :D

Can you confirm Peavey?

Is it 100%, 90%, 50% Ready? :?:

Regards,

gothmessiah

Well, I'm not promising anything at all. It could very well be early January.
:D :) :(

I have to say I'm a little disappointed as well. I've been reinstalling things onto a new hard drive and I'm just waiting for the amp profiler before I put Revalver back on.

My impatience has been growing since about 3 or 4 months after the initial news about it. If i remember correctly, it was supposed to "come soon" a year ago.

I'm still looking forward to it, but for now i'm using amplitube 4. The Mesa and ENGL stuff there sounds extremely real. And thats coming from an amplitube hater prior to version 4...

Peavey doesn't seem to care much for Revalver anymore, sadly. Atleast that's what it seems like to me. Only one new (guitar) amp since god knows when...

I really hope the ACT Amp will eventually revitalize Revalver, as i still love this software.

3 or 4 months, or even a year sounds resonable to develop and test something that ACT would do to a high standard, micheal said maybe January so it must be soon though :D

re amplitube vs revalver: That your opnion of course but I aint feelin it with ampltube, its got lots of cool features but it still sounds plastic as a POD, im merrily jamming along with a great 6505 emulation from the people who actually make the amp

And I thought I was the only one who would describe Amplitube as 'plastic.' I need to sell my Amplitube and it's stuff before people notice

The picking dynamic and respons in ReValver 4 is so god, just stroke hard and soft and see how ReValver compares to other sim`s in dynamic

^I will thank me as well. So, the question is: will I get my tax return back before Peavey releases this beast? Oh, and side note Ico, I just got Harrison mixbus and what they say about it (how analog it is) is totally true. no freeze function though, so I'm back in the days of 4-track bouncing. Sounds great with Revalver (so how I looped that back around) ;)

Rant!!!! Stupid IK doesn't allow transfer of items bought in custom shop with gear credits..is that why they made us buy gear credits for all those years, just so we get stuck with this _______. I haven't even reinstalled it after my HD change, and I don't plan on it. Rant over !!!! C'mon Peavey I'm ready :)
