What is Revalver?

Post by Tenorlord » Thu Dec 25, 2014 6:50 pm

I just received a Vyper 2 for Christmas, but it came with no manual.
It did come with a CD owner's manual, but the CD won't mount on my computer.
It looks clean and unscratched.

Where do I go from here?
Is there a downloadable PDF file or something?

Hi Tenorlord, welcome to the forum!

ReValver is a guitar-amp plugin for use with a software recording DAW (like Reaper, Cubase, Logic, Sonar,...).
It's the lite version of the ReValver III software from Peavey, with only 2 amps and a couple of effects activated.
You can also use it as a stand-alone program.
Also on the cd is a demo version of the DAW 'Reaper', and of course the Vypyrvip Manual.

you can download everything from the cd here:
- VypyrVip 2 manual: http://peavey.com/search.cfm?c=3&term=vypyr
- ReValver HPSe: http://peavey.com/products/revalver/
(just click on 'Downloads', then scroll all the way down the page)
- Reaper DAW: http://www.cockos.com/reaper/download.php

For ReValver HPSe, you need to install the demo software, then use the code you received on the cd-sleeve.

For Reaper, it's a full-working demo of one of the best recording software out there.
just install the software to use it, but don't forget to buy the software if you keep uing it...
