KVRAudio.com wrote: Audio Media Research (AMR) has announced the acquisition of the ReValver guitar amplifier modeling software line from Peavey Electronics.
In December 2019, AMR will launch the ReValver line with an updated version of the flagship ReValver product, as well as new additions to the ReValver line that will bring entirely new innovations to the guitar amp modeling software market.
"We at AMR are thrilled to get the opportunity to continue and further the legacy of the ReValver amp modeling line, " said Scott Mire, COO of Audio Media Research. "Time and time again, ReValver has raised the bar for what is possible in guitar amp modeling software and AMR intends to continue this tradition. The innovations that will be introduced in the new ReValver line will give guitarists a powerful array of sonic tools at their fingertips."

I've been watching for this closely. I do hope it will make updates to Revalver regular. This technology is too great to be left stagnant for three years at a time.

Re: Audio Media Research acquires ReValver from Peavey, new release this month
So I am a bit confused Audio Media Research was a Peavey brand. The new company is using the same logo that Peavey had from the 1980s. Is Audio Media Research still part of Peavey or is it a spin off separate company?

AMR is still part of Peavey. The change was made to put some distance between R4 and other Peavey modeling products.
Re: Audio Media Research acquires ReValver from Peavey, new release this month
Perhaps this topic should be renamed. The "new release this month" is VERY misleading. It's late in July so it's been over 6 months and nothing has happened.
Re: Audio Media Research acquires ReValver from Peavey, new release this month
It looks like regardless of the AMR takeover, Revalver is still in software purgatory with no end in sight.
Re: Audio Media Research acquires ReValver from Peavey, new release this month
A year later and still no updates to the software and no forums on the AMR page... I guess Revalver is no one's priority anymore.

See an update for mac OS, but only for new OS version compatibility.
How about the really new version of Revalver?
