I have to say this amp kit HD is awesome! That stupid hissssssss is gone from typical guitar apps. :-)

Now I bought the griffin stomp pedal which is nice but it goes into the same port. :-(

So what we need as players now is a footpedal interface HD with a volume pedal and 4 - 6 buttons all mappable. This solves the live performance issues and is the next step in this guitar app thing. Till then, thanks for this, it made these things (guitar amp apps) much more usable.

Thanks Dave! External controller support is a hot topic for us. No promises yet, but we know you want to see that kind of compatibility.

Any updates to report on the power supply? Also someone asked about the belt clip and I didn't see a response. Will that be coming out soon?

Thanks,
Aaron

The AmpKit HD Lightning Power Supply is now available. The item number is 03022760, suggested US retail is $29.99. Contact your Authorized Peavey Dealer to order.

If this is not possible in your case, you may also purchase direct from the Peavey Parts Dept.

To order from parts, please call us at 877-732-8391 (toll free in the U.S. and Canada) or 601-483-5365. The extension for either number is 1386. We can take your order via major credit card (no debit cards).

Our business hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Central Time, Monday-Friday. Hold times may be long during peak hours. If you have to wait on hold, feel free to leave a name and number and a parts representative will contact you as soon as possible.

Customers outside the U.S. and Canada should contact their local Peavey Distributor for assistance.

I'm definitely interested in the Ampkit Link HD but without the additional AC adapter it would be a no go. I will stick with my Apogee Jam.

BTW, I love the Ampkit app.

Just bought one of these from Guitar Center and now looks like it will be going back in a couple of days due to the lack of the vaporware AC adapter.

Bravo, Peavey, Bravo!!

This thread strated more than 3 years ago ? Then, you told us it will come very soon, you promised.

I bought this f... stuff because I was confident, good slave customer I am since 1993 (Bandit 112, Classic 50 410, etc...). That was almost 2 years ago, and now, you repply to all questions but the one we all ask here : will it happen one day or not ? No answer is the answer.

NO, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

I'm so desapointed... This was an excellent device anyway, but it's definitely unusable more than an hour long. In France, it was the most expensive device, and I took it because of the promise of an optional ac adapter (was making a real difference). Even if it was necessary to buy a lightning adaptor to use it on new apple devices. 30€ more! I staid confident. But we were already deceived, weren't we ?

1 year after purchase, it's already too late, in the meantime, AKHD became obsolete!!!!

Other brands are already talking about new devices adapted to new iPad and iPhone (64 bits softwares, lightning connectors, ac power supplies included...).

Even companies that have never deal with audio parts like Griffin Technology are proposing better stuffs : they were formerly selling tablets and phones protections!!!!!! What da F... See StudioConnectHD annonce...

But you (Peavey, Digitech, and other specialists of guitar stuffs) are so slow and self confident that those outsiders will easily send you out of the buisness... Game over men...

You are playing again Kodak story. You will desappear soon... because for most of people, an iPad is better than any amplifier to play at home. And it's a true pity! It could have been so easy for you to be the best in this job... Taking the leadership on Fender, Gibson, Orange, Vox and others...

So, bye bye Peavey, I live to play guitar, certainly not to wait for you!

Come on dudes, lets have a look elsewhere, stop waste your time.
I will inform all forums and webshops in Europe, that Peavey is not keeping its promises anymore.

Best regrets...

I can't believe this is still the case
Just got mine yesterday and it drains the battery
That is surprising that there is no solution yet

Everyone.......

Roger Crimm addressed this in his post on November 20, 2013. Call up Peavey customer service and order part number 03022760. I got mine in about a week. It works great and charges my phone fast. :)

Can anyone confirm whether what Agile Partners say below is true?
-----------------------------------------------
Thanks very much for getting in touch with us. I would like to help out.

The AC adapter works with 100 Volts as well:
http://www.parts-express.com/peavey-ac- ... ---248-788

In fact you can use any 5V 2A with 1.3 x 3.5mm plug AC adapter.

Let me know if that helped or you have any other questions at all.

Best,

I agree, it'd be good to get confirmation of this - obviously don't want to risk damaging the device but would be good to have a viable power solution for us here in the UK.

Actually, are the power specs printed on the genuine Peavey power supply and if so could someone share? That would give some confidence.

Thanks

Hi Guys,

HERE ARE THE SPECS FOR AMPKIT LINK HD POWER ADAPTER:

5VDC, 2A, polarity: Center +, 1,3x3,5mm plug

I found that at a Website of a reseller, posting the complete specs of that part.

And why all you Guys @ Peavey is it so hard for you to provide your customers with that Information?
I hope all of the people in this Forum will read this, so they can go to their Electronics Shop and get that power supply at last.
You Guys have a tiny little Box out, that People are looking for. The only alternatives for charging the device while playing are pretty expensive or much too BIG. But without the ability to buy a power supply it's Not worth to buy.
