CEX 5

Post by GregLatson » Thu Jan 08, 2015 1:35 pm

I am assisting a local community college in updating the theater sound system and the installation includes two Peavey CEX 5's. I would REALLY like to know what the heck these do; I have my suspicions( i.e. eq, delay, x over, ect ) but I cannot find an owners manual pdf on the Peavey website. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciate!!

You are right, I could not find the manual on either the Peavey or the Architectural Acoustics site.

The CEX 5 is a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) unit. It provides X-Over, Equalization, and limiting functions. What are you updating from and to?

The CEX 5 is a very powerful DSP and is the predecessor to the Digitool MX and antcident to the CEX/PC4XL.

Call Peavey for th4e manual:
