Hello, Please Help Me.
I need the best Xover setting or Xover frequency cuts. I have a Peavey system: QW4F + Versarray 218 Sub (each side).
What is the recommended filter Crossover/Bandpass for this system? ¿Butterworth, Bessel or Linkwitz-Riley?
In this time I use Linkwitz-Riley 12 for all Xover points, but I have doubts.
This is my parameters chart:
1. Versarray 218 (Low range). Type: L-R 12, Freq: 30 Hz. Level 10.
2. Versarray 218 (High range). Xover point Type: L-R 12, Freq: 120 Hz.
3. QW4F (Low range). Xover point Type: L-R 12, Freq: 120 Hz. Level 0 Db
4. QW4F (High range). Type: Flat, Freq: 20000
Thank you for your time and answers.

VSX26 Xover Setting for QW4F + Versarray 218
Re: VSX26 Xover Setting for QW4F + Versarray 218
Hey Sir; hope you are getting it worked out. what amps are you using? your way out of line on the shelf of the bass crossover. I would consider +6 to be very hot for aux subs. there is a plethora of preset on the web site. are you using a 26 or a 48 or the new e models ? DP

Re: VSX26 Xover Setting for QW4F + Versarray 218
hey sir; try this= lr24@34hz 0.00 level, lr24@ 90 this for the vr218 . lr24@ 70 0.00level, lr24@1400, bess24@3000 -0.5 level bess24@18000. make a 0.7bw cut to -3.0 @ 2700hz. you want the bottom cone in the qw4 to act as a bridge between the vr and the qw4 , else its not doing anything its own internal cross will send it down to 55. with the settings your using its not doing anything. Good luck . I would suggest cs4080hz or ipr II 7500 or prolite 7.5 . I normally use a pro9 200 on subs Good luck DP
