Peavey Vypyr 75 Modeling Combo amp

Hi,

I purchased a used Peavey Vypyr 75 Modeling Combo amp a while back. And it was working temperamentally from the start.
It sometimes works fine, and all the knobs correspond to how all of them should be working. However, sometimes you switch it on, and then some of the knobs do not work (so you turn them, and no lights come up/ move, and nothing happens) then you turn the amp off and and turn it back on, and it starts working fine again. Or sometimes you have to switch it off several times in a row for all the knobs to start working again.
The amp is always stationary, so it doesn’t get moved (so it can’t be that some loose are connections moving inside from the amp being moved).
Anyone has any idea on what could be causing this?

You can do a factory reset. Also spray contact cleaner around the knobs. Those are well known to have contact issues.
