Peavey X1 Amplifier issue

Hello,

So i bought the X1 and i used to be able to use it to record on my pc through the USB 2.0 port on the amplifier, only used it like 5 or so times, now that im trying to do that again, it wont work. My pc shows its connected to the vypyr but my actual amp will not mute the speakers. Peavey themselves said it will purposefully always mute the speaker. does anybody have any solutions?
