New Sanpera 2 stuck on stompbox switch.

Hi all, just bought as sanpera 2 footswitch and when I plug it into my Vypyr 2 it doesn't seem to be working properly.

The only light that is on is the stompbox light, the lcd screen only displays peavey sanpera II footcontroller and nothing more, it seems to change my amp settings when I press the various buttons but no lights will turn on or off and the lcd is just stuck on that message.

Does anyone have any advice?

Maybe resetting the Vypyr will help.

I'd look at bent pins on the MIDI cable. I assume you're using the correct 8 pin cable.
