Hi,
I have a Vypyr 3 Amp, firmware is current to the latest version (1.62). I am on Windows 10
From the Vypyr Edit software, I tried saving a preset with just the amplifier selected, no effects, no stompbox, no instrument. I tried different combinations, and it never saves correctly
When I close down, then open the saved preset, it always fills in the stompbox, even though it should be set to "Bypass".
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated..

Re: Vypyr Edit No Saving Presets Correctly
Well, I found the Web Version of Peavy Edit Pro. This doesn't seem to work any better. When I click " Connect to Amplfier", nothing happens..
I am getting the impression these Vypyr Amps are no longer supported by Peavy. The software is way out of date, links are broken etc....

The vypyr edit pro is for the pro vypyrs, it won't work on VIPs
From what I can see those presets look correct, they both show stomp/instrument and effect bypassed, but I don't have a way to test them at the moment.

OK, does that mean you can't test them at all, or just right now? Thanks

Just for now, I will be able to later.
Does the attached preset import properly? It's taken from a sample set I have on hand that also has a bypassed stomp/instrument and effect

Thanks for checking, I know it doesn't seem like much to go on, but that does really help narrow down what could be going on here. I'll get back to you on this soon

Re: Vypyr Edit No Saving Presets Correctly
I can recreate the problem with a VIP3, so it's not just your amp. All three of the presets we've looked at here show the same issue, and I can create new presets that show the same issue.
It might be a few days if not next week before I'm able to respond here with more information.
(Edited, not able to completely rule out the export process just yet)
