VYPYR EDIT ISSUES

Post by [email protected] » Wed Jul 22, 2020 11:51 am

When I first got amp, the Vypyr Edit software worked about 40 to 50% of the time. I now can connect to the amp o.k. and change settings. However, when I plug in guitar, I get no sound at all from the amp. Unplug the USB and I have sound. I have VIP 1 with Firmware 1.62, and I am running Windows 10. I have tried connect with Guitar connected and with it not connected, same results, NO SOUND when USB is plugged in and connected with Edit software. I have uninstalled, reinstalled edit software. Would appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you,
Chuck

While I have not used Vypyr Edit for a long time so I started it up today and tested it with my VIP1 and VIP3. I use Windows 10. Everything worked the way it should. Three things you can check, 1 the USB cable, 2 the USB board and 3 The cable inside the amp that connects USB board to the Dsp board
