I wonder if external output mod for Katana (just search for "Boss Katana speaker out mod") would work for Vypro, too.

Good work . I see in the picture you are using an effects processor in the loop. What is it and how well does it work with the Vypyr pro?WildmanMcgee wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2019 10:04 pmI did it and it was awesome, running a 4x12 vintage harley benton.

looks like a Digitech RP360XP ... i have one, but haven't used it with the Vypro (it doesn't have a loop, so no 4CM with it).
the Digitech iPB-10 (iPad thing) and GSP1101 (rack unit) both have loops and can be run 4CM. i have a GSP1101 in 4CM with my EVH EL34, and its awesome - love the Lexicon reverbs, and the amp models are great, too.

Good eye it's a rp360 i only use it as post eq and gate. The modulation effects are good. I dont really use the gains on the 360.

Any trouble with noise/hiss? I have long battled these issues with my zoom g5. I only use eq, modulation, delay and verb. No 4 cable method here either, so no dirt pedals or amp models. I do love the tone I get with it and have found ways to make it better, but not perfect. Has me considering other options.WildmanMcgee wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 11:03 amGood eye it's a rp360 i only use it as post eq and gate. The modulation effects are good. No hiss, i had a problem once but it was a cable in the effects loop. Never over look the obvious lol.

Thanks for the reply. I'm definitely looking at the rp360. Travis Larson does a demo of it. If he gives it a thumbs up it's got to be decent.WildmanMcgee wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2019 6:54 pmNo hiss, i had a problem once but it was a cable in the effects loop. Never over look the obvious lol.

i own the RP360XP, iPB-10, and the GSP1101 (for a second time, after the 360 and iPB didn't cut it ...)j_fury68 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2019 11:29 pmThanks for the reply. i'd recommend the GSP1101 ... worth the extra coin. 4CM mode = flip back and forth between GSP amp models and the preamp of the amp you're connecting it to. also has an IR loader, global EQ, and voicing settings for whatever you're connecting to (American/British/tube/SS/combo/stack/etc.).
only downside is the large foot controller - combined with the massive Sanpera Pro, it was just too much floor space. i bought the 360 and later the iPB-10, but they never sounded as good. currently have the GSP running with an EVH 5153, and i may throw the 360 in the Vypro loop for post EQ and mod effects like Wildman did above ...

Re: Adding external speaker jack to vypry pro 100
the GSP1101 is best with the c63 software update ("unofficially" made by Digitech employees) which brings it up to date with the amp models and effects of the newer iPB and RP360, along with other nice additions that those units *don't* have like custom IR loading.
the RP360 is still a good choice to put in the loop or in front - the Lexicon reverbs are great and a lot of good overdrive and other pedals to choose from.
Merry Christmas to you, too.
