VIP1 Amplifier Settings - Options

Post by Steve_LS » Sun Jun 03, 2018 8:28 pm

I just bought the VIP1 amp.
I'm confused as to what what I'm selecting when I press the the AMP button from Read_Green_Orange.

For example the second electric option (B) selects 6534.
The EQ, Pre and Post gain options are what they are.
Now I set the Stomp to Bypass and strum a chord, the amp sounds the way it sounds on Red.

I press Amplifier button, now it's Green.
I'm still bypassing any Stomp effects and the EQ, Pre and Post gain options are virtually identical.

I get a completely different sound.

Same thing when I press the Amplifier button again to Orange.
Same settings, different sound.

The amp and settings are the same when I cycle through.
What am I modeling when I go from Red, Green to Orange.

A cabinet?
Something else?
Where can I find a complete list?
Thanks, my name is Steve, and this is my first post :)

Think of it as three amps. Green is a clean modal, Orang is a crunch modal, and Red is a dirty or overdrive modal. They all sound different and can be changed by changing the pre-amp and post-amp controls and saving them as a preset. Each bank has 4 presets. (green, yellow, orange, and red)
A list of factory presets can be found on line, but I do not remember where, Maybe someone else can fill in where.

pushing the amp button selects the amp "channel" ...

Green = "clean"
Orange = "crunch", "midgain", "overdrive"
Red = "lead", "highgain", "distortion"
