Peavey Vypyr 15 Headphone-out problem?

Post by davidgustavo » Thu Apr 16, 2015 9:28 am

Hi guys! I have az amazing Peavey Vypyr 15 practice amp in my college room! I want to practice silent via headphone (i dont want to borther the others).

I have a stock headset (what I got with my mobile), and it's sounds creepy. Allright, but I tried with my friend's Sennheiser HD 555 dynamic headphone - and it sounded very creepy too!

Why? I'm planning to buy a Shure SRH440 headphone, and I'm just confused because of that. I want to hear my guitar sound in high quality, if I'll buy this headphone.

What can be the problem? Why I heard that creepy sound from the Sennheiser? (http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD555- ... B0001FTVDQ) Maybe the open headphones can be the source of the problem? Or anything else?

Thanks for your advices guys! :)

Stock headphones are only good with clean sound (like your mobile).Get some good headphones that can handle a wide frequency range (like 30hz to 30,000mhz.
