Got this amp 3 days ago. It has loads of different distortion sounds which I am made up about, but the octave setting is what I seem to be playing with the most.
I'm not a big fan of reverb and delay, the chorus and pitch shifter I dont find useful. The term is interesting and the auto wah is fun for a few minutes.
This amp has volume! It's not as confusing as a line 6 which has useless presets that make it hard to find a basic clean tone. I was quite amused by the adobe instruction manual that advises you to buy drum sticks if you don't know what a jack input is.
So yeah I am basically trying the amp settings with bypass and figuring out what the mids are all about. Considering my riffs are quite heavy I have the mids and highs up high so the thinner strings ring out more ( girls girls girls or it's so easy) kind of riffs.
I tried the amp with an ibaneZ then restrung my Parker p36.
All in all it's a nice loud amp that will come in handy for switching between different distortion sounds.

Thought I'd share these files with everyone...

The 4-Up is simply 4 of Big Al's amp template image on one page (at 84% normal size). The 3-Up is using a modified template image that I made with areas for more info to be kept (at 80% normal size). Both are right-justified so you can punch holes in the left side of the page and place them in a binder (I'm using red & green Sharpies to color in my settings).

I'm also including the modified template image I made if anybody wants that.

Enjoy!

You are most welcome! I'm just glad I could give something back to the group considering how much I've learned from everyone else. :)

Wow! Just found this. Really nice, Warlock! Thanks.

I'm waiting on delivery of my Tube 60 and I'm going to use the heck out of this template.

Quick Q....What's the diff between the 3-up and the 4-up?

Thanks.

LOL!

Guess I should have figured that one myself. Now I feel like a real dunce!

I see (after reading all 17 pages!!) that no one has mentioned the 12 presets the T60 comes with. The manual just says how to copy over them with your own (and how to restore theirs with a reset). Has anyone tried them to see if any of them have what you're looking for? I just got mine today and am still finding my way around the amp, so I have not had a chance to look at them.

Queensryche tone anyone? I've been trying to get the guitar from "Another Rainy Night", which I've heard has a second guitar at a lower octave, so naturally I'm using the octaver, but have seen recommendations for a pitch shifter too.

I've been tinkering with the Plexi red channel, the analog phaser stompbox, then the octaver rack effect. I've gotten pretty close, but can't quite nail it.

I have fiddled with the settings on those, but I'm not sure where I last left it set. If anyone can give me some specifics to get it dialed in, I'd really appreciate it.

I have a vypyr 30 and I play an ESP ec1000 with emg 81 & 60 with the 18volt mod. Can anyone recommend some settings for a good black metal tone?

Does anyone know if these settings would still work on the new VIP line? Perhaps the amp models are close enough with only the names being different?

Does anyone know what amp/setting will approximate a Valveking? I know I should just go play one, but they're kinda' hard to find in this one-horse town, and I checked over at VYPYRSETTINGS.FR.

Thanks.

I actually just down sized from my Mace tube amp to a Valveking 112 and also own a Vypry 30 and new VIP3. If I get time I will played around with my Vypyrs and see what I can come up with matching to the Valveking.
