Vypyr X2 - iPhone App Usage

Has anyone gotten the iPhone app to work? I can open the app but I can not get anything other than a "demo mode".. the whole reason I upgraded my VIP 2 to the X2 was so that I could use the phone app to select the preset amps... dos this app actually do that, as advertised?
