Interior Windscreen Replacement

Post by ab0qn » Sun Mar 02, 2014 8:25 pm

I was wondering if anyone can tell me where to purchase the foam material that goes on the inside of a mic grill. I have searched endlessly on the internet, craft stores, etc. Maybe I dont know what to call it and am looking wrong, but I have used various search techniques and the stuff does not appear to exist for sale. I do not need the replacement grill, just the foam that goes on the inside.

take an outside windscreen and cut it to fit, or just use the outside foam windscreen...

I have purchased replacement foams from Full Compass and adapted them to the microphones I was updating.

The internal screen is usually quite thinner that the windscreen. I primarily reduces moisture from getting to the element.
