After years of abstinence I want to bring my old guitar gear back to live.
After these years my Profex II has also this battery leakage problem. I could solder in a new one, however I found, that there is a batteryless modification by Ken Fox as it seems (which would be more comfortable than replacing the battery every couple years). Unfortunately the website (foxvintageamps.com) is not online anymore.
Does anybody know about or made this modification?
Thanks very much in advance.

yes, exactly. This is were I came from.
However theses are older threads and and the website of Ken Fox (who did these mods) isn't online anymore.
So maybe someone knows how this mod works exactly.
Right now I have to clean the PCB. The leakage of the battery also went on the downside of the board. I have to see what I have to replace abd hope that I can bring it to live again. One more question: does anybody have a service manual of the profex II?

thanks!
This is what I found aswell. But the problem is, that it is not stated which IC it is, that can replace the old one.
Unfortunately, the website of Ken Fox in this forum (where you could have bought it) is off.
