I have a XR600B that I am trying to get up to speed that has been sitting for a while.
Got the PA to pass a strong signal and all operations are working well minus the Reverb.
Here are some symptoms that hopefully will help you narrow the failure down..
1- Reverb is dead on both return i.e. no crash when I hit the tank
2- Cleaned the RCA connections (which were not that bad anyway)
3- cables seem fine
4- in my experience, tanks rarely go bad but I have not tested it so maybe
5- when I turn up the master REV and starting at around 3, I lose signal AND the compression LED lights up. If I move past 3 and say to 5, all signal is lost and the compression LED just stays lit
5- when I turn up the Mon Rev master, nothing happens
I am not well versed in SS but I have 20+ years in tube amps
