Back again....I really don't like SMT...I am old school and much prefer the old school ways.
So, here is my next issue. The XR-1220 had a bad power Switch/ Circuit Breaker. It was obvious due to the noise of parts inside of switch.
So, I order and replace the defective Switch/Breaker, and still nothing. I have voltage to the front half of board, but lose it near the end where the relay briad goes to the Board. Most of my readings were around 175 VDC...All 'regular' filter Caps read good by ESR testing.
I've heard of issues with these switches/Breakers, and end up taking out some IC's. Of course, I can't ID them, because there are that IC Chip SM!!!
So, is there a 'common' repair to this defect of shorted out Switch??

175 VDC???
Where did you measure that?

It's not uncommon for a faulty switch/breaker to cause issues downstream. If replacing the switch didn't resolve the problem, consider checking components directly connected to the switch, such as capacitors, resistors, and diodes.
