Matrice outputs in the Peavey Aureus

Post by Efosa » Mon Sep 26, 2022 10:25 am

I got the aforementioned mixer recently and while it has several cool features I was really disappointed to find out that there are no programmable matrices you are limited to 8 buses which function as auxillary sends and main out L/R.

This is really baffling for a digital mixer, even analog mixers have multiple sub group outputs that you can use to send your main mix to different halls or different sections of your hall so I don't get why this mixer is limited to just main left and right.

I have two questions:
1) Is there a walk around for this?
2) Is there a plan or an update that will allow some of the buses to be programmed as matrices rather than just function as auxillaries?

I don't own this yet, but I'm interested in the answer also.
