i have a peavey fx24 and many times the audio from master cuts out and vu-meters stop.i cant reproduce the problem in the lab when using an audio source like mp3 player.the problem takes place only when i take the console to an event and connect 8-10 microphones.the cpu usage usually is about to 85-90% using only reverb and feedback ferrets.the consle had problems from the beggining.it had too much noise at the output without anything connected to it.it was sent for repair and then started the other problems with audio cutting out from the master.also i never let the console to clip in any audio source. i saw in the forum that there is a fix for this issue.im an electronics engineer so if someone can send me this fix i could repair my console.since now it is summer in greece and the console is very needed for various events there is no time to send it to an authorized repair center again that will delay the repair.i would have to buy a new one..i would be very thankfull if you can help.thanks in advance.

this is an often discussed topic & problem, where I've found several information about. Ok, it needs some time...
Because you are a specialist, I think you can deal with the attachment; it's a mod on the DSP board - but please look up for the details to be more sure about.

PS: I've got this mixer with the same problem and I haven't done this mod yet, but opened it up, re-connected all easily reachable flat ribbon cable connections. Currently we have no outages during rehersals. Hope this helps.

thanks for the replies.i opened the console and saw that 3 electrolytics at the power supply were bulged,so i replaced them and also did the mod to be on the safe side.till now everything works fine.thank you all.
