Hello All, I researched the forums looking for an answer and didn't really find anything current. Has anyone come up with a reliable wireless system to transmit from the main outs on the mixer to the inputs of active speakers. I have seen an article about using wireless guitar systems but also saw a response from Marty mentioning companding issues.
My use would be in small to medium size venues doing DJ/KJ gigs.
Thanks

Re: Wireless system to eliminate speaker cables
I know several folks that use guitar wireless systems. The key is, however, to buy GOOD wireless systems. I like the Shure BLX14r systems. The catch is that it is going to cost you about $400 for each speaker just to reliably get rid of a little wire.rok55 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 28, 2021 10:23 pmHello All, I researched the forums looking for an answer and didn't really find anything current. Re: Wireless system to eliminate speaker cables
The best I have found is Alto Professional Stealth Wireless System for Speakers
it is around $399 but shop around
Using it with Turbo sound system and Peavey DR16
Works great and easy setup
