XR1212 Ribbon Cables

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know how these ribbon connectors detach please?
The +15v rail is shorting to earth and I need to localise.
Looking for a needle in a haystack would be child's play in comparison to this!

SOme ribbons are soldered down, the ones that look like paper with traces in it. But the typical gray plastic multi-wire with the IDC connectors generally pull straight up off the pins. They can be stiff of grip. so power off, get under the connector with a small screwdriver and wedge up each end back and forth to worry it off.
