How to record from Peavey mixer board to a Tascam recorder.

Post by smithman » Sun Sep 18, 2011 6:04 pm

I just purchased a Tascam DP-03 recorder. I use a Peavey 2002 mixer board. Which output do I use to plug my Peavey board to the recorder input?

Left and Right output of the mixer to the left and right inputs of the Tascam.

However you may need an cable with the proper interface or adapters. Don't have info on the DP-03 and our crystal ball is broken.

Smithman,

Are you out there? I own a DP-02CD, and use it regularly. There ain't a question you can ask that I can't answer about that unit, and Peavey mixers. Post back with anything :)

Now that some time has passed from your original post, have you made any interesting discoveries about the DP03? I bought one not too long ago and have found it to be just a killer little unit so far. I think TASCAM really nailed the concept of a portable multitrack on this one !!!! Your thoughts?
