xr1212 problem

Just trying to find out what happen..We are using xr1212 mixer at our church and has been working just super..NOw the problem begins. We purchase a samson headset with condenser mic and when we turn the c.d. player on, all mics, phantom and the new condenser shut down..can not hear anything but the music from the c.d. player..turn the c.d. off and everything comes back on and works again just great..What is up with this if someone knows..
Any and all help appreicated

How and where is the CD player connected to the XR1212 mixer?

It is connected by rca plugs on top of the sound mixer
Hope this answers your question.
Please if you know how to correctly install the cd player, if the above is incorrect, please advise

It is indeed a strange issue. I do not believe the mixer is the problem, but it could be.
Try this: Use some RCA to !/4 inch adapters and plug the CD player into the line inputs of two channels. See if it functions properly then.
