Hi
The specs at 1% distortion include a 2-Ohm capability (250 Watts)
However, at 0.15% they only give ratings at 8 and 4 Ohms
I want to use one side of the amp to drive 3 monitors totaling 2.6 Ohms nominal impedance. However, as these are only vocal monitors, it is unlikely to ever get remotely close to full output. Plus - as impedance rises with frequency - the amp is unlikely to see 2.6 Ohms using only vocal frequencies. I suppose if it does start to get hot, it will cool down as soon as the singing stops. I think I should be ok - opinions please?
Thanks
Phil
