LN 1263 L Channel signal issue
Hi. I’ve been enjoying this system since receiving it less than a month ago direct from Peavey. Testing different configurations. I’ve experienced a problem.
Today I had it in MONO setup with the pole and both tops stacked. I noticed the top satellite speaker was not sending signal.
I detached it and plugged it in via Speakon cable. Still no signal on the L channel.
Swapped speakers and both work fine when signal is present. Swapped cables and isolated that it’s not the speaker unit or cable.
I changed the mode to stereo and mono, rebooted the PA a few times.
I also reset the settings to factory to no success. Disconnected the app and used onboard firmware only. No success.
Isolated the L and R pan. Signal was coming out the R channel. Nothing from the L, either stacked together or separated using the Speakon connections.
So, in troubleshooting, I isolated that the top satellite speaker had no signal through the pole, but the bottom satellite speaker did.
The top speaker still had no signal when attached via the rear Speakon cable attached to the L Channel output, but the R Channel output via Speakon worked for either the bottom satellite or top satellite. Swapping Speakon cables didn’t make a difference.
The L to R panning had no influence on getting L Channel signal output. Nor did MONO vs Stereo mode selection. Or App vs firmware operation.
What did bring the L Channel to life was when I tipped the sub enclosure forward on it’s front bottom (grille) edge to see the labeling on the back of the amp. Something must have connected/shifted inside to pass signal through the L Channel circuitry. It now works via pole stack or L/R Speakon connections.
This seems to suggest some loose connection inside the sub. Do you agree? But this is worrisome due to the possibility/probability that the L channel will again disconnect internally. I worry that the sub rumbling will shake this loose intermittently.
Thoughts?

Today I turned on the system configured as stereo with both satellites connected via twistlock. Same issue as last week, no signal coming out L channel.
I tilted the sub forward on the front bottom edge, the signal began to play. I'm very curious what connection is loose. I also saw that one of the machine screws in the top handle assembly was unscrewed, telling me that someone had disassembled this unit prior to it being sold to me.
Is there a service manual for this system?
Peavey customer service hasn't answered their phone, email I sent or the eBay message to the Peavey Electronics account that sold this to me.
Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone used an external analog mixer with the LN 1263? If so have you had any issues doing so? we need more channels for our band.

Yes. I've used an external digital mixer with it. A Behringer XR18. Works great. You basically want a flat EQ on the Peavey mixer and just feed two channels on the LN 1263 with the LR main outputs on the XR18. Or send L and R individually to two LN 1263s. Do all your mixing inside the XR18 and you're cooking. I don't see why an analog mixer would be any different.
To get back to my original post, I've continued to experience this L channel intermittent issue. The signal is sometimes not present, then comes online when the cabinet is tilted forward. I took a look at the internals and see there's a wiring harness feeding L and R signal to the twistlock connectors, and the circuit then goes on to the spring contacts in the pole cup, passing the L channel to the spring contacts at the top of the R speaker. So my unit's issue is before the signal gets to the twistlock, which affects the configuration either stacked or split apart.
Cold solder joint? Bad wiring harness? Peavey customer service doesn't answer the phone... Hard to say.

I notice that you said "twist-lock" in your post... does the pole twist? Just got mine and satellites points to the left of the sub.... No instructions what so ever on this part lol

No. The Pole only fits in the Sub cup in one orientation and the satellite speakers fit onto the pole facing forward. I'd double check you've got the pole and speakers oriented correctly. The pole does not twist in the cup.
The "twist-lock" I'm referring to are the Neutrik Speak-On connectors used to feed the satellite speakers when they aren't on the pole. There is a L and R female output on the back of the sub/mixer. Those are where the twist-lock SpeakOn cables attach, the other end going into the back of each half of the top speaker column.

The pole on mine..the two "Spikes" that guide it in are not aligned. Anybody else experienced this?

I also have emailed customer service with no reply... Not very pleased with Peavey ATM
