Peavey model 115HT

Post by kenthunt » Mon Nov 28, 2022 1:14 pm

Hello, my question is about old vintage peavey 115-ht, c-700 network passive crossover, speaker will only work using Biamp jacks, full range will not work? I see in forum that the switching jacks might be bad? Any help is much appreciated . Thank you

Yes, switching jacks could be bad, or just corroded and not making good contact inside. When no plug is inserted, the switching jacks make internal contact to route the full-range (normal) input through the crossover circuits. Try spraying some electrical contact cleaner into the jacks, then plug and unplug a cable in the low and high jacks several times to see if that will clean up the internal contacts.
