Hello
i have looked and find no info on this cabinet. If you can, could anyone please tell me what speakers came in this cabinet. The serial number is
7E-053932 and what head they actually came with. They have squares on the back of them. Any help would be greatly apprieciated.
Thank You
1977 412S speaker cabinet
Re: 1977 412S speaker cabinet
Look for numbers on the speakers. They are probably Eminence speakers, manufactured for Peavey, but they should have numbers on them to identify them.
Re: 1977 412S speaker cabinet
My old Peavey speaker list says they had 121638G speakers in them. And I too would expect them to be Eminence, but possibly CTS.
The more I learn the more I realize how much I don't know.

Re: 1977 412S speaker cabinet
It should be a 4 ohm cabinet, unless the wiring configuration or speakers have been changed. I have on old one, but the speakers and the grill have been changed.raven45227 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 22, 2022 4:32 pm... The serial number is 7E-053932 and what head they actually came with. ...

The 412S was often used with the Mace. Both with the head and as an extension cabinet for the combos. There were likely other amplifiers. I want to write the Roadmaster also, but a search of the forum should yield some results.
