ill start off with i know nothing about audio or speaker setups so sorry for my silly questions
i have a 40x50' shop that we use for weddings,parties, watch sports etc and I'm wanting something that sounds really nice. i have directv that id like to have hooked up to, also be able to play bluetooth from my phone. what is everything that i would need?

So for 16’ height you could do a ceiling speaker system distributed through the space if you want even coverage. If you want to have a focus area, then frontal speakers at the focus point is better. Knowing that the sound distribution will be louder nearer to the speakers.
