Hi
I've been gifted a set of peavy hisys xt2 uk speakers from a family member in bad shape. The hi speakers are working OK but the 15in eminence is toast.
I have got hold of the exact replacement but need help with the wiring. When I got them they were wired up with cheap screw terminals but was given 2 peavy back plates to go in them ( originals must have been looted ).
Anyway the plug on the back plate to the soundguard crossover/filter pcb board has different pin locations to the original plug so won't fit.
Can I break into the cables and solder them to the new plate plug or remove the pins and swap the cables over.
I have no idea which wire gose were on the new plate to the soundguard and if I need to use them all.
Is anybody able to give me some help in which wire goes were, even better a schematic of the wiring.
Pics
Many thanks in advance

That wiring is in fairly bad shape.
I'm seeing a simple Horn Protection Hi Pass filter on that circuit board.
The Woofer will connect directly to the incoming signal and the Tweeter will connect through this filter.

Could you show the horn driver and woofer. ( 22 horn and Black Widow woofer? ) Although sold "Across the Pond" I believe those are the same as an Sp2. If that is the case you'll want the CD Horn Eq supplied in the passive crossover and correct padding (volume adjustments) for the horn section as well. Without the correct passive crossover the speaker may sound very bad and possible damage to the horn/woofer could happen.

Sorry for the long few months delay in replying. With all thats going on lately not had much free time to get on with sorting the speakers.
Since on lockdown here I know am able to carry on with the refurb. I have taken photos of the speakers which are below.
Thank you for all the replys so far
