These are about as rare as you could ever come by. Mid-80's dual concentric coaxial 12's with Black Widow LF speakers and 22AC compression drivers. These things are massive – 26 lbs each! Retrofit for Project V or 112-CX floor monitors. $150 each or $275 for both. PM me for more details and shipping.Image[/img]ImageImageImage

hey bud,
did you sell your 1204’s? the sp-22ac drivers seem so rare that i can’t find any info that can explain the difference (if there is one) between them and the standard aluminum SP-22A of the era. Do you know if peavey just stamped the “c” on the drivers loaded into their “coaxial” speaker cabs? my project V’s came with one 22a and one 22ac, and i swear the 22ac sounds noticeably better for some reason. i’ve swapped it between the two cabs and it still crushes, so i know it’s not the crossover. Oddly, the 22AC measures 2.8 ohms while the 22A measures 5.8 ohms, so maybe to the crossover is shifting frequency in a sonically good, but abnormal way? anyway, let me know if you still have the 22 AC drivers as i’m thinking i should get some back ups for my own project 5’s. thanks, chad in vancouver.

Thanks very much for your inquiry. I sold them a few months ago. Sorry for any inconvenience. I forgot I posted here. I'll try to delete the post now. May not be possible though. Best to you!
