Peavey Grind NTB Pots and Caps

Post by NewmanD3395 » Sat Jul 06, 2024 7:16 am

I've read somewhere online that the grind used 250k stacked pots. I figured using soap bar style pickups it'd be 500k but I don't know what the original pots were. I also don't know what value capacitors they used from factory either. Any tips?

Whoever wrote that should get their eyes tested.

The original Grind basses were active bolt on neck designs, tone pot was an active/passive push/pull. A push/pull pot does not count a a 'stacked' pot.

Later NTB versions are passive with 2 x V, 2 x T. No call for stacked pots with that set up.

Pot values were 2 x A 500k and 2 x B 500k. Caps were 2 x 0.047uF
