Peavey Milestone BXP Jazz Bass Wiring Help

Post by jaxplanner » Sat Nov 16, 2019 6:16 pm

Two white wires came unsoldered from the neck volume pot and I am unsure where to solder them back. Can someone please help? Thanks in advance.

Hi jaxplanner

One of those "whites" should be black.

No matter,it's only a colour. With the pot lugs facing you, I'll number them 1 to 3. Left hand being 1.

There should be a white running from lug 1 on neck volume to lug 1 bridge volume,it then continues to lug 2 of the tone pot.
The other white (black) is a a ground soldered to the back of the volume pots.

You'll see what I mean from this PDF.
