Bring back the Cirrus!

Post by Dreamsinger » Fri Sep 01, 2023 10:44 am

What would it take to get Peavey to bring back the Cirrus? If nothing else, get Peavey to license production to select luthiers to faithfully reproduce them? Made in USA preferably.

YES!!! I’ve been wondering why the heck they ever stopped making them. They were some of the best and most prestigious basses in the world and Peavey would make a killing if they brought them back and marketed them to pros! I miss them!

The Cirrus is expected to appear again this October.

Production is being handled by NBE.Corp in the Czech Republic, makes sense as they already build the HP-2 guitars.

As well as Peavey, NBE also build for NS Design, Spector, Esh and Clover.

Examples at NAMM showed no changes from the standard spec though ,like the 2017 Indonesian reissue, they sport the peghead "Power Plate".
