Today I stopped in to a local pawn shop looking what may be worth getting interested in for a good project. I found this 1984 Peavey Horrizon 11 in natural swamp ash or just ash hanging on the vine.
I know nothing about this guitar other than the wood is extremely nice. Have not plugged it in to see f it works but my main thinking is what would this be worth if it plays okay and the neck is good?
The condition is the finish on the ash is thin and needs a retouch up but maybe a real good cleaning. The neck looks good but has a bow were the strings are high in from the 10-11 fret to the bridge, frets look like they were never played on and the lacquer finish is flaking off in some areas around the head stock. No idea on the T-rods condition.
Any ideas what it would be worth as is ??
Thanks

$300 would be a good deal.
You can probably adjust the truss rod.
The missing trem arm could be tough to find however.

You dont want to use the trem on those anyway. There's always a burr. I use mine decked and its a killer guitar
