I used to know this, but cannot recallnow.
What wood is used on the body of the Patriot Plus guitars? I have the redburst of this model. I tried finding the answer on the internet, but of course I have seen maple, ash and the manual just says "hardwood".

Re: peavey pattiot plus question
It is not uncommon to use Maple for transparent and figured finishes. The same guitars will use Ash for solid/opaque finishes.
But I am not a Peavey guitar guru, so we will wait for one to chime in.

Post a photo. As Peavey has a habit of changing stuff up at will, best to see what you have.
