Peavey Wolfgang Special Goldtop
I inherited an original Peavey Wolfgang from a friend in parts. It is well played. I want to put it all back together. There are some parts I am missing from the Floyd but I am focused on wiring it up again. There are no schematics I can find and the wiring doesn’t make sense to me. It appears like the pickups were hooked up to the outside lugs of the three way switch (normal) and that both outputs from the switch came off the centre lug(normal). It appears there is some extra grounding wire on the switch. Now on the volume pot it looks like one input is soldered to the output lug and one to the input lug. Why? Would this not cause destructive interference? I am unsure how it leaves the volume but the output Jack also does not make sense to me. Can anyone help me with this?

Re: Wolfgang Special Gold Top wiring
Nothing makes sense with that wiring. It looks like most parts would be grounded out. If you call Peavey, 877-732-8391 (toll free in the US), between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Central Time, they can usually email the wiring diagram to you. Afternoons had been better before the pandemic.Forbesguitars wrote: ↑Sun Aug 21, 2022 10:48 amPeavey Wolfgang Special Goldtop

As for ypur missing Floyd parts, I saw a post on Facebook today where Amber had a bunch of NOS bridges available. Follow this link for some more details, or join that group on Facebook and message her.
