A friend with a spectacular collection of guitars sold me this.... one of the red JF-1EX models and it is in (as near as I can tell) new condition. She never gigged it. She got it as part of a trade she made years ago and I don't think whoever had it used it either. It still had the plastic cover over the pick guard with the stickers on it and there was no "pick marring" on the plastic protective cover. I honestly don't think it has been used much at all.
Looks great....plays great..... electronics are clean, quiet and functional.
That leaves me one question.....
Where is the serial number on this thing?????
Nothing on the back of the headstock.... there is no neck plate as it is a set neck.
Looked in both F holes with a flashlight..... I come up with nothing.
Anybody know where they hide it?
Thanks!
Just bought a JF-1EX

Re: Just bought a JF-1EX
I have a JF1EX and a JF2EX. The JF1EX does not have a serial number. On the JF2EX the serial number is on a white sticker that is about 1” x .75” on the back of the headstock.
I assume that the JF1EX had the same thing but the previous owner removed it along the way.
