Peavey t-60 question

Post by kilsien » Mon Sep 06, 2021 2:23 am

I played my friends t-60 (it was a natural finish) while out of town a while ago, and recently put one on lay-away. My question is why are finished t-60s lighter than natural finishes?

I assume you mean T60s with a solid painted color, black, white, blue, red etc. Not the sunburst versions. So the painted versions used a lighter wood. I do not remember the exact wood on those. The natural and sun rusts used a Northern Ash.
